Online learning is an excellent way to get all the benefits of classroom learning, but with the flexibility of studying wherever you want.
You don’t need to attend a physical classroom, but you do need to stick to a schedule and be as disciplined as you would if you had to attend face-to-face lessons.
Our award winning online study methods have been designed by experts in learning science and professional instructional designers, so you can be assured that you get everything you would from a classroom - if not more.

What is Live Online?
Live Online combines the structure of being in a traditional classroom with the flexibility of studying from home or anywhere that you might be.
You join timetabled live lectures online, and talk to tutors during the class for live feedback (via a chat panel). The classes are interactive so you can ask questions and talk to other students through the chat panel as you watch the tutor.
All the lectures are recorded, so if you miss one you can catch up, or re-watch classes for extra revision. And just like in a classroom, you’ll get all the physical study materials you need for the course.
You can select to have materials posted to you so you can work through them with the tutors during lessons, and outside during further studying. There is also plenty of information and resources via MyKaplan, your study portal where you access everything you need for your course.
You will also have a tutor for support. You can get in touch with them about anything regarding your learning - be it tricky topics, sticky subjects, or that little bit of extra information that you missed in a lesson.

What is OnDemand?
OnDemand is an award-winning, flexible, online study option that uses a variety of learning formats, such as bite-sized tutor-led lectures, and activities to link topics together, helping you stay motivated.
It gives you the flexibility to study when and where you want, with online resources designed to give you structure, keep you motivated, and cement your understanding of the subject.
Every module and topic has been through a detailed instructional design process, and every module is scripted and links the on screen animations with the graphics in your workbook.
This provides a high-quality online learning experience, which is so much more than a live recorded tutor session, or even a tutor narrating highlighted text book visuals. The integrated workbook helps you keep all your notes in one place, making revision easier and more efficient.
You also get interactive practice questions and exam questions to help you prepare before the real thing. And you’re not alone - you’ll always have a dedicated tutor and progression advisor (previously learning coach) to keep you on track and answer any questions about the course.
You can currently subscribe to ACCA and CIMA OnDemand (ACA available from Sept 21).
Is an online qualification the same as a classroom qualification?
It absolutely is. You study all the same course content and have to sit the same exams to pass the qualification. The only difference is that you study via a computer instead of in a classroom. That’s it.
No matter how you study, you’ll still achieve a prestigious qualification and open doors to new opportunities and careers.
