What this means for current ACCA students

Our advice? Keep going. Kaplan recommends continuing your studies without delay. We’re here to support your progress with the current syllabus and help you stay on track.

The first exams based on the new syllabus are expected to launch in 2027. Since it usually takes 3–5 years to complete the full qualification, most current learners will finish their studies before the changes come into effect.

What you need to know

  • The current syllabus remains fully valid, and you can continue your studies without disruption.
  • You won’t need to resit any exams you've already passed.
  • You won’t face extra time or cost to complete your qualification.
  • Your focus now should be on the next steps on the current syllabus.

Supporting a smooth transition

If you're already studying ACCA, you might be wondering how these updates could affect your learning journey. To support the transition, ACCA has developed a Transition Tool to help you understand how your modules, expected to be completed by 2027, align with the updated structure.

Kaplan is also reviewing how these changes will be integrated into our courses. As more details become available, we’ll provide clear guidance to help you plan ahead with confidence.

What this means for new ACCA students
