ACCA Strategic Professional modules and exams
The ACCA Strategic Professional Certificate is the most advanced ACCA level and explores a range of advanced techniques and skills.
With our ACCA Strategic Professional courses, you'll learn advanced techniques, skills and have a working knowledge of the professional ethics required of an accountant or consultant operating at a senior level.
Entry requirements
You should have previously completed the previous two ACCA levels (Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills) to join the ACCA Strategic Professional qualification, or have been awarded exemptions from these levels.
What you'll learn
You'll be required to complete four modules as part of your ACCA Strategic Professional qualification, plus one ethics and professional skills module. Most learners complete this level within 12 to 18 months.

ACCA Strategic Professional exams
Exams are run by ACCA four times a year, and you can sit a maximum of four exams in each session, with a maximum of eight exams each year. Exams need to be booked directly with ACCA and are a computer-based exam format.

Mock exams and continuous testing

- Consolidation test: This test comes part way through each module to help you check your progress and consolidate your learning.
- Progress tests: Similar to the mock exams, progress tests give you direct and personalised feedback at the end of tuition.
- Mock exam: Mock exams allow you to practice exam technique in the same format as the final exam, and will be marked by a human who can provide you with personalised feedback.
- Pre-exam workshop (Live Online learners only): This workshop offers the opportunity for focused guidance from expert tutors to get you exam-ready.
- Revision question debriefs and walkthroughs: These video materials cover exam-standard questions to familiarise you with the exam format.

Live Online

There are four exam sessions per year. You can sit a maximum of four exams at each session, and a maximum of eight distinct exams each calendar year.
Exams for Strategic Professional subjects are paper-based and should be booked with ACCA directly.

How long does it take to pass?
Most students complete this level within 12 to 18 months, however this varies and will depend on how quickly you want to complete the course. Strategic Professional exams have specific sitting dates - the exam timetable can be found on the ACCA Global website launch.
Study materials and delivery costs
Live Online learners will receive printed and online study materials. OnDemand learners will receive digital materials but are able to purchase hard copy materials from our bookshop.

Delivery costs
How much it costs to deliver your study materials and how long it takes depends on where in the world you live.
Delivery fees are as follows:
Malaysia - RM60
Rest of Asia/America - $47
All other countries - 40EUR
Please note that due to varying interpretations of the post-Brexit EU/UK trading agreement, some EU countries are imposing import duty on the value of the goods received from the UK. It is payable by the end consumer via the delivery company and your delivery may be withheld until paid. This may vary from country to country and be up to a value of 20% of the value of the study material.

Testing and mocks
We have a wealth of materials to help you revise for and pass your exams.

Knowledge checks
As you go along, knowledge checks help assess your understanding of a topic before you move onto the next one.
Mock exam
Practice your exam technique with a mock exam, which replicates the format of the final exam, so you can check your progress. Mock exams are human marked with feedback provided directly to you. For SBL there will be 4 mock exams. All SBL courses provide an online debrief so you can understand the answer and improve your own.
Consolidation test
A short test of written questions you complete part way through tuition (two tests for Strategic Business Leader (SBL)).
Progress tests
An exam style assessment sat at the end of tuition (Knowledge and Application for OnDemand). Human marked with feedback provided directly to you. (SBL does not have a progress test, but extra mock exams instead.)
Revision Question Debriefs and Walkthroughs
Videos that walk you through an answer to an exam-standard question highlighting the correct approach to the question and how you could score marks.

Pre-exam workshop
Our pre-exam workshop offers the opportunity for focussed guidance from expert tutors to get you exam ready. The workshops will be tailored to those learners who attend to make sure everyone gets the most benefit from the session, but will include:
- the essentials of exam technique such as presentation, time management, and CBE software
- question debriefs and marked feedback
- suggestions of additional questions to attempt based on common weak areas
- additional tuition on tricky topic areas
- the opportunity to discuss any final questions with your tutor and peers.
For a live online course your answers are submitted in advance of the session. You get valuable exam style question practice at a crucial point in your study journey.
(SBL is slightly different from the other subjects at this level as the question-based approach described above, using the final mock. It is attempted and submitted in advance, and then reviewed in the final session.)
